Horace Trenerry is a South Australian artist, not widely known in Australia.
The book presents a wide range of Trenerry's work all reproduced in colour, and will allow people to discover a painter who deserves to be better known.

There are two essays by Lou Klepac, extensive biographical notes, an essay by Barry Pearce and a memoir by Jeffrey Smart, who visited the artist in Aldinga in the late 1940s.
Trenerry had two paintings selected for the exhibition of Australian Painting held at the Tate Gallery in 1963.
